All Dogs see a veterinarian
Our dogs all see a Licensed Veterinarian. They are giving an exam and vaccines that are needed and all medical needs are addressed.
Our dogs are adopted with:
VET PAPERS included in your folder
Microchip
Collar
Leash
Harness
Seatbelt
Additional items may be a blanket, toy or chews.
On adoption day, please bring towels or something you'd like to make transport easier. Our dogs wear a seatbelt. We do not recommend a crate for travel.
All dogs must remain in the car when traveling under 3 hours. If you need to stop, we suggest a place like McDonalds, Bob Evans etc. Keep your dog secure. We will be assisting you with information on how to travel safe.
We have a Certified Veterinary Assistant on site.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH
Our dogs get mental health support. Many dogs shut down at shelters or when they are rehomed. MDRC has a structured plan for each dog and builds a custom program catered to their specific needs.
Massage therapy, physical therapy as just a few ways we help our dogs relax. Our methods are proven to help a dog along the way which carries through to the new home.
Any dog with little to no human contact can be turned around in as little as 2 days. This doesn't mean they are ready for a home, it simply means we are working hard to get each dog the proper care and support they need to move past whatever is blocking them from moving forward.
We provide a calming environment and give each dog the love and care they need.

Turf Training yard
The turf keeps our doodles as clean as possible. We love being able to work with our dogs at a moments notice. Natural grass needs weekly maintenance. Turf allows for the dogs to play in all kinds of weather. Wet feet are a thing of the past. We like to keep the turf clean and fresh.
We enjoy the clean environment and the dogs do too.

On site and off site training
Each dog is given the tools they need at the appropriate age. MDRC dogs learn the commands that MDRC uses to help them respond faster and quicker.
Our dogs are a part of the family
When dogs are surrendered to MDRC, we make them feel like part of the family. They enjoy our free roaming and outdoor activities. You can tell they are more relaxed.
